Collations

A Collation is an object in the database that set comparison rules for text data in the database. The collation must already be present on your system (typically in a library file) and must be properly registered in a .conf file in the intl subdirectory of your Firebird installation. You may also base the collation on one that is already present in the database.

Collation Editor allows you to define collation properties. It opens automatically when you create a new collation and is available on editing an existing one.

To open a collation in Collation Editor, double-click it in the DB Explorer tree.
