Add Database Wizard

The Add Database Expert guides you through the process of adding a new database to the server. To call the expert select the Database | Add Database menu item or click the Add Database button on the toolbar.

Set the following database properties:

Database name
Set new database name.

Host
Host name or server IP address for the new database. Default is 'localhost'.

Port
The TCP/IP port for connecting to the server.

Login
Login name for connecting to the server.

Password
Password for connecting to the server.

Directory
Select a directory to define it as a database on server.

   Register After Adding
This option allows you to start the process of registering new database in DBISAM Manager after the adding is finished (Note: you must register the database to start working with it in DBISAM Manager).

When you are done, click OK. If option Register After Adding is checked then DBISAM Manager displays the Register Database Dialog, which allows you to set many database settings for working with it in the DBISAM Manager.
