EMS Data Export for PostgreSQL is a powerful program to export your data quickly from PostgreSQL databases to any of 20 available formats, including MS Access, MS Excel, MS Word (RTF), HTML, XML, PDF, TXT, CSV, DBF and others. EMS Data Export for PostgreSQL includes a wizard, which allows you to set export options for each table visually (destination filename, exported fields, data formats, and much more) and a command line utility to export data from tables and queries in one-touch.

First of all you must have an opportunity to connect to some local or remote PostgreSQL server. Besides you need your computer to satisfy the system requirements of EMS Data Export for PostgreSQL.

You can configure the template files for each table or export type visually using the Data Export Wizard. Set the required export options on Step 3 of the wizard and click the  ‘Save Export Options‘ button. All the options will be saved to the template file, which can be used by the console application.

EMS Data Export for PostgreSQL includes some additional features, which are not available in EMS SQL Manager for PostgreSQL such as:

  • Export data from several tables at once;
  • Export data from tables selected from different databases on one host;
  • Command line utility to Export data using the configuration file with all the Export options.

This is a limitation of the trial version which exports only 20% of all records. With a registered version all the records are processed.
