Database states


The general database status includes SQL Server database state (the database icon color or right-bottom corner icon) and policy status (the color of a shield in the left-top corner).

 

Database_Emergency - database is in an emergency state and does not have policies

Database_Emergency_Green - database is in an emergency state and all policies have "succeeded" status

Database_Emergency_Red - database is in an emergency state and has failed policies

Database_Emergency_Yellow - database is in an emergency state and has some warnings on policy execution

 

Database_Offline - database is offline and does not have policies

Database_Offline_Green - database is offline and all policies have "succeeded" status

Database_Offline_Red - database is offline and has failed policies

Database_Offline_Yellow - database is offline and has some warnings on policy execution

 

Database_Online - database is online and does not have policies

Database_Online_Green - database is online and all policies have "succeeded" status

Database_Online_Red - database is online and has failed policies

Database_Online_Yellow - database is online and has some warnings on policy execution

 

Database_Online_Single_User - database is in a single user mode and does not have policies

Database_Online_Single_User_Green - database is in a single user mode and all policies have "succeeded" status

Database_Online_Single_User_Red - database is in a single user mode and has failed policies

Database_Online_Single_User_Yellow - database is in a single user mode and has some warnings on policy execution

 

Database_Recovering - database is in a recovering state and does not have policies

Database_Recovering_Green - database is in a recovering state and all policies have "succeeded" status

Database_Recovering_Red - database is in a recovering state and has failed policies

Database_Recovering_Yellow - database is in a recovering state and has some warnings on policy execution

 

Database_Restoring - database is in a restoring state and does not have policies

Database_Restoring_Green - database is in a restoring state and all policies have "succeeded" status

Database_Restoring_Red - database is in a restoring state and has failed policies

Database_Restoring_Yellow - database is in a restoring state and has some warnings on policy execution

 

Database_Suspect - database is suspect and does not have policies

Database_Suspect_Green - database is suspect and all policies have "succeeded" status

Database_Suspect_Red - database is suspect and has failed policies

Database_Suspect_Yellow - database is suspect and has some warnings on policy execution

 

InactiveDatabase - database is inactive
