Table Properties

Table Properties are set on creating a new table on the Options tab of the Create Table Dialog and are available for editing later (see Create Table and Edit Table for details).

Text Index

This tab allows you to use a full text indexing for table fields.

To add fields to the full text index, move the fields from the Available Fields list to the Included Fields by double-clicking or dragging them. To remove the fields from the key, move them back in the same way.

Stop Words
A list of words to be excluded from the full text index.

Space Characters
The space characters specify which characters in the ANSI character set are to be used for word separator characters.

Include Characters
The include characters specify which characters in the ANSI character set are to be included in the words that are finally used for the full text index.

Options

Description
Optional text, describing the table.

Language
Defines the table language.

Sort
Defines the alphabetical sorting rule.

BLOB Block Size
Defines a BLOB block size for the table.

Major Version
User-defined major version of the table.

Minor Version
User-defined minor version of the table.

Encrypted With Password
Enables table data encryption.

Password
Password for data encryption.

Confirm Password
Password confirmation
