Register Host Wizard

The Register Host Wizard allows you to register multiple databases on one host. To call the wizard select the Database | Register Host menu item, or press Shift+Ctrl+R. You can also use the Register Host button on the mail toolbar or DB Explorer toolbar.

Connection Info

Host
A host name or the IP address of the server to register.

Port
A TCP/IP port for connecting to the server.

User Name
User name for connecting to the server.

Password
Password for connecting to the server.

Databases

Select databases to register by moving them from the Available Databases list to the Selected Databases.

To move all the databases from one list to another click the double arrow buttons ( >> or << ). To move only the selected databases click the single arrow buttons ( > or < ), drag the selected databases or double-click the required database. To select multiple databases, hold down the Shift or Ctrl key while selecting the database names.

Registration Options

The options, available on this tab, can be applied both to a single database, selected in the list, and to multiple databases. To select multiple databases, hold down the Shift or Ctrl key while selecting the database names. Note, that database alias cannot be set for multiple databases.

All of these options totally correspond to those you set for the single database in the Register Database Dialog.

When you are done, click Register to start working with the selected databases in DBISAM Manager.
