SQL Manager for SQL Server 6.0 and SQL Manager for InterBase/Firebird 7.0 are out!

These are major releases, and their centerpiece is the AI assistant. It recently debuted in SQL Manager for PostgreSQL, and now it's available to anyone working with SQL Server, InterBase and Firebird:

The usual AI assistant features are all there, of course: writing a query from a plain-language description, explaining SQL, fixing broken queries, optimization, and reading execution plans. But you can take on bigger jobs too:

  • Hand it the schemas of two databases and get a list of differences plus a ready migration script.
  • Give it your current schema along with new business requirements and get a script that reshapes it.
  • Attach someone else's SQL as a file right in your question, have it explained, and ask for edits.

Important: schema visibility is set down to the individual object, so you can send just a single table with your question. You stay in full control of what goes into the context and how large it gets.

Connect as many providers as you like. All you need is an API key, which is stored encrypted, and you can switch models right in the chat. Need complete autonomy? Ollama is supported, so your data never leaves your machine.
