Viewing transactions

The Transactions tab of Database Monitor allows you to view the list of transactions in the database (currently active or in limbo).

Database Monitor - Viewing transactions

The list displays the transactions as a grid with the following columns:

ID, User, State, Start time, Commit retaining, Isolation level, Read only, Write, No wait, Snapshot, Pool memory, Quantum, Savepoint records, Page reads, Page writes, Page fetches, Page marks, Record selects, Record inserts, Record updates, Record deletes, Record purges, Record expunges, Record backouts (for InterBase);

ID, User, State, Start time, Protocol, Remote address, Isolation mode, Lock timeout, Read only, Auto commit, Auto undo (for Firebird).

If more convenient, you can change the order of the columns by dragging their headers horizontally.

Click a column caption to sort items by values of this column in the ascending or the descending mode.

If necessary, you can group the data in grid by any of the columns. This operation is performed by dragging the column header to the gray "Group by" box area at the top. When grouping by a column is applied to the grid, all the rows are displayed as subnodes to the grouping row value. To reverse grouping, just drag the column header back.
