A perpetual license with a maintenance term is bought once and lets the software run indefinitely. After your maintenance expires, you will not be able to update your software or get technical support, however you will still be able to use the program. To protect your investment and have your software up-to-date, you need to renew your maintenance.
A subscription license gives you the right to use the software and receive updates and support for as long as it's active. When the subscription expires, the software stops working (after a short grace period for renewal) — unlike a perpetual license.

You can easily renew your maintenance/subscription on-line through our Customer Portal. After renewal, you will receive a confirmation e-mail with all the necessary information.
