Installation


If you are installing SQL Query for SQL Server for the first time on your PC

 

  • download the SQL Query for SQL Server distribution package from the download page available at our site;
  • unzip the downloaded file to any local directory, e.g. C:\unzipped;
  • run MsQuerySetup.exe from the local directory and follow the instructions of the installation wizard;
  • after the installation process is completed, find the SQL Query for SQL Server shortcut in the corresponding group of Windows Start menu.

 

If you want to upgrade an installed copy of SQL Query for SQL Server to the latest version

 

  • download the SQL Query for SQL Server distribution package from the download page available at our site;
  • unzip the downloaded file to any local directory, e.g. C:\unzipped;
  • close SQL Query application if it is running;
  • run MsQuerySetup.exe from the local directory and follow the instructions of the installation wizard.

 

Also you can use the full distribution package to upgrade your current version of SQL Query for SQL Server. In this case, you should repeat the steps you have made for the first-time installation. Note that the full distribution package is larger than a single executable file.
