Create simple report in the report designer


To create a report using Report Designer:

  1. Select the Tools | iconReports_EditReport Report Designer main menu item.
  2. In the opened Report Designer select the File | btnReportDesigner_NewReport New Report main menu item, or click the btnReportDesigner_NewReport New Report item of the navigation bar. The following objects will be added to the newly created report: ReportTitle, MasterData and PageFooter.
  3. Connect to data source.
  4. Add ADOTable or ADOQuery object.
  5. Link ADOTable or ADOQuery with ADODatabase.
  6. Place database fields on the Page1. Move the required fields from Data Tree to Band MasterData.
