Scheduler Schedules


Use scheduler schedule to define period and frequency of task execution.

 

 

Creating Scheduler Schedules

 

To create a new scheduler schedule:

Hint: To create a new scheduler schedule, you can also right-click the Scheduler Schedule node or any object within this node in the DB Explorer tree and select the Scheduler Schedule item from the context menu.

 

To create a new scheduler schedule with the same properties as one of existing scheduler schedule has:

Alternatively, you can right-click a scheduler schedule in the DB Explorer tree and select the Duplicate Scheduler Schedule <scheduler_schedule_name>... context menu item.

 

Duplicate Object Wizard allows you to select the database to create a new scheduler schedule in, and to edit the result SQL statement for creating the scheduler schedule.

 

 

Editing Scheduler Schedules

 

To edit an existing scheduler schedule:

  • select the scheduler schedule for editing in the DB Explorer tree (type the first letters of the scheduler schedule name for quick search);
  • right-click the object and select the Edit Scheduler Schedule<scheduler_schedule_name> context menu item, or simply double-click the scheduler schedule;
  • edit scheduler schedule properties using the appropriate tabs of Scheduler Schedule Editor.

 

Dropping Scheduler Schedules

 

To drop a scheduler schedule:

  • select the scheduler schedule to drop in the DB Explorer tree;
  • right-click the object and select the Drop Scheduler Schedule <scheduler_schedule_name>... context menu item;
  • confirm dropping in the dialog window.

 

Note: If more convenient, you can also use the following shortcuts:

Ctrl+N to create a new scheduler schedule;

Ctrl+O to edit the selected scheduler schedule;

Shift+Del to drop the object from the database.
